A first even for both teams until the 20th minute, where the Uruguayan
slección was finding the necessary space to attack comfortably until the 28th

Sanchez and Maximiliano "monkey" Pereira.

tying the score for Charruas to 1, with an excellent header from Lucas Barrios,
earning the position to José Giménez.
The second half started the same as the first time, quite stuck, unable to
realize, but gradually, the Paraguayan selected, it became the possession of
the ball, so that was bewitching, and cornering moments to Uruguay but still,
both teams made a nonaggression pact, ending the game tied at 1 in Paraguay and
Uruguay.
Both teams qualified for the next instance where Paraguay ranked as second,
and Uruguay as the third, the latter would face Chile, who is the organizing
team, the homeowner.
